Heritage Port Stanley will be starting up again this fall. The historical society’s first get-together is scheduled for Thursday, September 15, 2022, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the second-floor boardroom, at the Port Stanley Festival Theater (PSFT), 302 Bridge Street, Port Stanley.

“We are going to try an evening meeting to make our club more accessible to people who are working during the day,” said John Morrow, Heritage Port President. “This will be an interesting meeting that will include opening a time capsule.

“Several vintage postcards will be given away,” added Morrow. “Old-timers like myself and newcomers to our village can all learn a little bit about our local history from an audiovisual presentation that will take us through the last 150 years of growth and change.

“Mark your calendars. This will be a great time to invite a friend, especially someone who has moved to our village recently.”
