“We are selling these beautiful plastic poppies, which are yours to keep, perfect for your front lawn, in windows, or at grave site to remember the fallen,” said Lion Bob Nemett. “From November 1, 2021 to November 11, 2021, Port Stanley Lions want to create a Sea of Red in Port Stanley and area for Remembrance Day. 100 per cent of proceeds go directly to our local Legion.”

The poppies are 12 inches in diameter and about 24 inches tall, reusable for several years. Prices are: one for $10, three for $25, six for $50 12 for $100, 24 for $200, 36 for $300, 120 for $1,000.
“Legion Branch 410 would like to thank the Lions and everyone who purchases a poppy,” said Legion President Rich McClenaghan. Poppy Chair Sherry Trowhill added: “The funds will directly go to the poppy fund to assist our veterans. It is much appreciated.”
