An online Zoom information meeting considering formation of the Kiwanis Club of Port Stanley will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at 1 p.m. Fifteen new members are required to form a new chapter.

“Kids need us now more than ever,” said Louise Macphee, Lieutenant Governor, Kiwanis International. The club – dedicated to improving the lives of children – has 550,000 members in 80 countries and geographic areas. Kiwanis serve the needs of children, including fighting hunger, improving literacy and offering guidance. Kiwanis clubs host nearly 150,000 service projects each year.

The service club was founded in 1915, in Detroit, Michigan, and is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Since 1987, the organization has included women as members.
